WELCOME BACK, FOREST CITY SINGERS!
On Sunday, April 23rd, the Forest City Singers performed their 2023 concert “Forest City Favourites” to an appreciative audience, just shy of 90 people. This was their first spring concert at Rowntree since 2019 and it was well worth the wait. From the soaring soprano solo of Andrea Wells on “We Rise Again” to the guitar duet of Dave Watson and Dave Dunham of “Little Deuce Coupe” with vocals by Dave Watson, there was no shortage of memorable moments.
Many thanks to musical director Michelle Brown, accompanist Allison O’Connor, and all the choir members for an enjoyable afternoon.
